The walk proceeded as planned with a rather wet morning subsiding into occasional showers. Thus a small group made its gentle way across the border.
Small group – and a walk of no great consequence…. but for each a pleasant delight, to walk along the ridges that once provided major route-ways in times long, long gone.
And to arrive happily at ‘The Bettws’ high above the Clun Valley.
